Little Africa ,Asics Shoes Sale Usa, Corriverton – The New Jersey Arya Samaj Humanitarian Mission has contributed to making the final days more enjoyable for 109-year old Ismay Spooner.Late last month, the centenarian of Little Africa, Eliza and Mary, Corriverton had only one wish, since she got nothing for Christmas and her birth anniversary.Ismay Spooner and the items she received from the New Jersey Arya Samaj.“Me nah want clothes, me got clothes till me ain’t even know what to put on. I like listening to the preaching on the radio. Yeah I want a radio.”Last week, the New Jersey Arya Samaj Humanitarian Mission handed over the transistor radio and a small food hamper.Ever mindful of her manners, Mrs. Ismay Spooner graciously accepted the package and begged the Lord to watch over the benevolent souls who made her gift possible.“Tell them God will bless them and may God help them to live a life that counts. May God give them the strength to serve him in spirit and in truth.”As she clung tightly to her new toy, she mumbled, “I feel good. This is nice company. I like to hear on the radio when the children in school and the teacher ask them questions and so on. I like to listen to the preaching and so. I really thankful to them for this.”When she was asked if there is anything else she needed as she makes her way to the big 110, she responded after a few seconds, “A nice pair of slippers with a strap at the back, any colour except white and a little Complan and Sanatogen will do. When the aches and pains step in, she consoles herself by saying, “Is old age pain… Thank God, He knows all. I am not worthy for the least of his blessings but he keeps me alive. Thank God. I go to Church once a month. I contented to be in the land of the living.”Mrs. Ismay Spooner is not the only one in her family to enjoy longevity, her mother made it to 102. Her only child died many years ago and so did her husband. The centenarian is now in the care of Iris February. Ms. February described her as a cheerful person who is very easy to please and a joy to be around.Back in the days she had her share of fun, clean fun. The centenarian had always been a teetotaler and smoking was never a part of her routine.“I liked dancing, especially when I put on the stilts. I like dancing but not the kind of dancing they got nowadays. She is not actually sitting around waiting on the death call, but the feisty ‘ole gal’ spends her time handing out advice to the younger ones, telling tales of yesteryear, singing hymns and praying.
