Police investigators associated with the probe into the death of biker,Maglia Di Ronaldo, Kirk Davis, were yesterday called to testify on behalf of the prosecution as the Preliminary Inquiry (PI) into his death continued at the Georgetown Magistrates’ Court.Randy JagdeoThe PI is currently engaging the attention of the Chief Magistrate, Priya Sewnarine-Beharry.Randy Jagdeo,Fc Barcelona Tienda Espa?a, 27,Maglia Juve 2018/19, of 159 Third Street, Alexander Village, Georgetown, is said to have shot Davis to death at his Eccles, East Bank Demerara residence on September 3, 2013.On November 21, 2013,Camiseta Gerard Pique, the Prosecution had stated that it will be leaning on eight witnesses to establish a case of murder against Jagdeo. Thus far, a total of five witnesses have already offered their testimonies.On Wednesday, the biker’s brother, his employee and a Detective Corporal who is a crime lab photographer attached to the Criminal Investigations Division Headquarters, Eve Leary, had already given sworn testimonies to the court.At yesterday’s hearing, the said Detective Corporal Whittington was once again called to the stand.Adding to his previous testimony, the photographs of the crime scene were tendered as evidence and he was cross-examined by Attorney at Law Mark Waldron who appeared in association with Roger Yearwood on behalf of the accused.Next to testify in the matter was Detective Corporal Keith Conway,Man City Away Home 18/19, who is attached to the Criminal Investigations Division of the Brickdam Police Station. Under oath, he related what he did during the investigation of the murdered man.The death certificate, post mortem report,Unisex Air Jordan 11 (XI) Retro  Win Like 96  Gym Red/White-Black 378037-623, spent shells recovered from Davis’s body and metal fragments were all tendered as evidence. He was also cross-examined by Waldron.The Prosecution’s final witness yesterday was Detective Constable Carlston Rockcliffe, who is attached to the crime lab of the Criminal Investigations Division of the Brickdam Police Station.? He related to the court the part he played in the murder investigation.At the request of Corporal Bharat Mangru, who prosecuted, Detective Constable Rockcliffe will return to court on the next scheduled date to continue giving his evidence.The Prosecution indicated that it has four remaining witnesses to support its case. The case stands adjourned to February 10.
